Appendix 4: Putative Heat Shield/Lockheed 10B

On October 4, 1989, the TIGHAR expedition to Nikumaroro in search for the wreckage of Lockheed NR16020 recovered a piece of aircraft structure, a piece of weathered aluminum material (dado) which they documented as artifact 2-1-V-8.
