Hi All

Just thought i would ask what fellow member's are thinking about upcoming documentary ?

And if any member's can clarify Tighar is already planning for an expedition next year ?

My take is this.

Tighar being Tighar

Have found wreckage on reef face that weren't obvious before, well until they were on there way home anyway, So no serial numbers could be searched for, If Jeff Glickman is needed to analyze image's it's safe to say, what ever the object is, is not easily identifiable.

Is there any object on Electra that can provide smoke in gun evidence  ?

My take is if they asked Jeff Glickman to look at something, they must think it is important.

My other thought is August 19th does not leave much time to look at and analyze the data, and then prepare a documentary. They already set a date for the show without Tighar having finished looking at the data. So I think they have to start to prepare the show early. So the documentary may just be an update of why they went, followed by a blow by blow of the trip with the last part revealing the evidence or lack of evidence, and filming that last part as late as possible.

Fair comment's Gregory  :)

I wonder if now the latest team, Have adjusted there mince pie's too coral formation's, They see what me an Jeff have been wanting them see,

And need some one of Jeff Glickman's stature to clarify it ?

Let's be honest would you take the word of a Scouser or a southerner  ;)

Me neither  :)

Richie,
you are still very optimistic, but I would say, this is wishfull thinking. I bet on 08-19-12 there won't be any "good news". Just my opinion.

Depends on how we define 'good news'.

Correct!  :D  I would say "good news" is a smoking gun, (engine, broken wing), really smoking! (Not any peace of metal which could be anything!) (But, what should be smoking being under water?  ;D ;D ;D)

Chris Johnson

I hope we get some really good shots of the island face and diagrams of its makeup.  Also look forward to the shots of the NC stern section and associated debris.

I agree Oskar, that would be the ideal situation. Not certain that identification can be made simply from imaging, a chunk of debris would be better but, no touching allowed this time, maybe next time they can Hoover it all up. Good news would be that they found something that shouldn't be there and, it was made to fly, preferably by Lockheed but, we'll see.

Well, I'm sure, there's no U2 down there!  :P
No, let's be earnest, back to topic, LOL!

Hmmm, I think of it in the opposite way- anything remotely suspicious should merit Jeff's inspection- better to have him look at something and dismiss it, than to miss out on having him find something.  IMHO of course.

Regardless, I remain convinced TIGHAR is right about the Niku Hypothesis, and more searching is required.  The DC special should be fascinating, I hope we get to see some Norwich underwater City wreckage, I'm a sucker for shipwrecks.

They keep a close track of these birds oskar ;)

Could be an Iranian Sub or French survey ship though  :D

One of the lesser known theories and one of my favourites from the old forum  ;D

I guess that's one I haven't found yet. :o

Do a search on the word "ayatollah" on the main TIGHAR site and you should find references to the most bizzare theory of them all.
