Did we know that when the first Trans Pacific Airmail flight, The Pan Am China Clipper took off from San Francisco Bay in 1935 (Under the Golden Gate bridge I might add) the Navigator was none other than Fred Noonan.

I don't have time to re-read them just this minute, but I'll bet that they've got a pretty good picture of Fred's work with Pan Am in them.
