June, Late 40’s or early 50’s (’47 or ’48)

nearer to the Goose Pond

(Hadn’t been there before)

2 pieces. Alike. Looked like molding for a window frame — jagged aluminum. 16″ or 18″ long and 1/2″ wide

Carried to Gun’s shack (now gone)
eastern end of Burnt Hill

2 pieces
Looked like quarter round wood molding with aluminum joined to it. Didn’t notice rivets

Very flexible aluminum

Bluish white or grayish aluminum Bleached wood

Seen at Branch

His mother, Clara McGrath (Nash) married Bernard Coffey

French Plane sighted over St. Pierre & Branch heading NE direction.

John William McGrath around evening heard explosion (noise like thunder) from in the country. No speculation.
