Gore Vidal
Eugene Luther Gore Vidal was born 3 October 1925.
Son of Gene Vidal.
He was three months' shy of twelve years old on 2 July 1937.
Gore Vidal is the source of at least two Earhart legends:
- That Earhart was the love of his father's life.[1]
- That George Putnam and Gene Vidal tried to dissuade Earhart from making the fatal flight with Noonan.[2]
