"The artifact is a brass, size 06, Autolock slider and zipper pull manufactured by the Hookless Fastener Company of Meadville, PA under the trade name 'Talon,' not earlier than 1933 and not later than 1937. It was intended for civilian use on a medium-weight garment such as a jacket or coveralls made in the Unites States" (Tighar Tracks July 2008).
