Many people (including the first author of this article) want to be "The One Who Found Amelia."
TIGHAR tries to keep an open mind and has done some research on topics suggested by Helpful Witnesses.
Informants would not be classified as suffering from HWS if their memories, photographs, and/or tips produced any useful results.
