By any chance have you ever had Roxio on your PC
Or addditional virus or software eg SpyBot   AVG
Have you tried unistalling  IE 8 which will roll it back to see if prievious Browser settings work.  Then reinstall IE 8
Is you win update coupled with Microsoft Update ?

Is it just me, or does anyone else have problems seeing any of Sheila's pictures?  I can not view them unless she also posts the jpeg file.

Dan,

This morning I tried my wife's laptop, which has IE 8 and Win 7 installed, to see if it exhibited your problem. It did. A Security Warning
that appeared when I tried to view a problem page provided a clue that enabled me to find a solution.

Do the following in IE 8:

Select Tools - Internet options - Security

Select Internet zone, if it's not already selected

Click the Custom level... box

In the Settings window, scroll down to Display mixed content and select Enable

Click OK twice to close out the dropdowns
