The Ameliapedia will return, too -- Any Day Now

I am working on precisely the same kind of difficulties with the Ameliapedia that I had with the Forum.

I have done a very dramatic update from version 1.26.4 to version 1.4x.x of the Mediawiki software, which is necessary to make the wiki compatible with the software used on the website. The updated version is currently running on my own computer. That is enough excitement for the moment. 

I think I see the path I have to follow to get the database and the code base uploaded and configured on the TIGHAR server, but it is nap time now.

Thanks for the kind words, Rick.

I went downstairs to play bridge while uploading 34,000+ files for the Ameliapedia to the site.

The list was not even half done when I came back upstairs.

My partner and I won, so that helped.

But it was foolish to have used Filezilla for this task. Better to have made a tarball, upload that, and unpack.


Oh, well. Live and learn!

I'm about to take the next steps to start the shakedown cruise.
