Enjoyed the new Tighar Tracks (I also never got an email about it). I thought the information about the binoculars was intriguing. It would seem very valuable to know where they were found (which is mentioned in the article). I was surprised that another possibility for their origin was not mentioned; they were dropped by one of the aviators during the flight (it was an open cockpit, correct?). I only suggest this as they seem in really good condition (seems they would be damaged if they were part of the crash debris). Knowing where they were found may help to understand the path the plane took.
