Seven Site and Metal Detecting

Pardon me if this has been hit on before.  Has the seven site been surveyed using metal detctors?  It seems it would make sense to do so.

Metal deterors-R-Us. We're fortunate to have the long-time sponsorship of White's Electronics - a premiere manufacturer of metal detectors.  Their units are standard equipment on our expeditions and many of our finds have been made with them (zipper, pocket knife, etc.) have been made with them.
