Hi Folks, I'm new to the forum and have had lots of hours of great reading.
Sorry if this question has been covered before, but I haven't seen the answer.
There is mention of a infant grave (possibly still born) having been found during one of the excavations. I've read the online details of this excavation on your site, but didn't see anything addressing this question:
What sort of investigation, information, DNA etc. was used to rule out the possibility that Amelia could in fact have been pregnant, and that this baby could have been hers?
From reading through the materials it sounds like it's possible that AE could have been alive on the island for months before passing away. Assuming a longer time on the island, it seems possible she could have been pregnant or gotten pregnant and given birth there.
Thanks, I look forward to reading more.
Paul
