World Flight Route

	What was the route of the around-the-world flight?
The flight began in Oakland, California, and was to end there after proceeding eastward around the world as close as was practical to the equator. Earhart disappeared on the third-to-last leg of her flight, en route from Lae, New Guinea to Howland Island. A map and route description is at World Flight Map.
