According to Rudolf Lorenz, the jilted lover suspected of murdering her and Robert Phillipson, her then-favored companion, Austrian Baroness Eloise von Wagner Bosquet, also known as Elvira Wagner Bousquet, also known as the Empress of Floreana, sailed off to Tahiti from Floreana Island in the Galapagos in 1934.  Her body has not been found.&lt;br /&gt;
