In 2010, TIGHAR sent a team to Fiji to search further possible locations where the bones found on Nikumaroro might still be in storage.

The bones were not found, nor were any new leads developed. The team enjoyed unprecedented access in each facility due in large measure to the help of Richard Pruett, Deputy Chief of Mission for the U.S. in Fiji.
