.....I'll say this for FOX News - they're consistent.  They always get it wrong.

The truly pitiful part is....for a video barely more than two minutes in length, it is amazing how MANY things they got wrong.

Amazing!

And just to think that Fox is one of the best and most accurate news networks.  It this had been ABC, CBS, or NBC, they would have probably reported that Amelia and Fred's landing site had found and there are hopes of finding them alive.
And it's SO easy to simply check you facts before you air them!

A study found that Fox News is the most inaccurate network. Those who watched Fox News had more inaccurate beliefs about the news than those who watched other networks. The more that they watched Fox News, the more inaccurate their beliefs became. See page 20 of the study (page 22 of 26 in the PDF viewer).

Simon,
The WPO is just a very liberal group and I believe most of their studies are worth just about the cost of the paper on which they are written.  But, as with any opinion, one can find an opposing one.   For example there is a study and about media bias, including Fox, that found that Fox news scored as a "right" trending network news (what a surprise).  But their 'score' was substantially closer to the 'center' than New York Times, CBS, NBC, ABC, etc...where their 'scores' were substantially to the left.  So I guess we drink the coolaide flavor we want.
Meanwhile, that report on Fox was (or should have been) and embarrassment.

Below is an article on the WPO you may find interesting.
