German Raid on Chad WW2
« on: June 27, 2011, 02:50:51 PM »

OK Wikipedia isn't the font of all knowledge but this caught my eye.  lone German Heinkel He 111 from the Sonderkommando Blaich successfully attacked Free French Forces at Fort Lamy, Chad, but ran out of fuel on the return flight

The article talks about trailing wire for radio comms.
