Dionne Quintuplets
« on: July 10, 2017, 09:51:50 AM »

All of the furor over the TV show has produced some interesting articles about things Earhart related.  In the period between the failed first world flight and the last flight AE and George Putnam apparently visited Canada (Toronto) and then went north to see the Dionne Quintuplets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dionne_quintuplets) who were the first group of quintuplets born where all five survived and who were major celebrities in the 1930s.  There was apparently going to be some tie in with a Quaker Oats promotion when she got back from her world flight.  I had never heard of this trip.
