I lost my place
« on: September 03, 2015, 06:37:23 PM »

I started rereading from the beginning of island history. Starting with the wreck of the Norwich city. I read that. The Eric Bevington's journal. Then onto the New Zealand survey pages.
Somewhere in those pages. I read where someone had mentioned seeing two ruined shacks with tin roofs near the lagoon. Does anyone remember reading that? If so could you post the link. I have no idea what terms to search for to find that page again.

Craig, re-read "Report of T. Thomas, First Officer, S.S. Norwich City" and you'll find what you're looking for.

Thank you that was the page I hadn't reread yet. Now we have a more approximate location for the first coconut planter shacks.
