Let's not presume to lecture our UK friends about how things should be spelled. English originated in their neck of the woods. Quoting George Bernard Shaw (their guy), "England and America are two countries separated by a common language." Quoting Ralph Waldo Emerson (our guy), "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." :)

Just don't use the term 'Brit' as i find it most offensive ;D

My point was that Jack (no surname, no profile) did much more than take "artistic licence" (or however you like to spell it). He added things to a transcript that were not there and changed the entire thrust of the transmission. It's hard enough to get an understanding of what happened without wading through anonymous nonsense.
I noticed in one of your posts that you used the term "Brit speak" Why would you be take offense with the use of the term "Brit". I'm Irish and I don't take offense when someone calls me a "Mick" unless of course if that someone is a Brit. Have a good day 8)

think you may have got Bruce's 'Brit Speak' and my ;D find the word 'Brit' ;D mixed up due to some bad quoting by me. Its me with the erradicate 'Brit' mission and Bruce who is quite rightly championing the queens English!!!
