I'd guess that it is more likely from the "house built for Gallagher" (which may or may not be identical to the water-tank at the Seven Site (http://tighar.org/wiki/Water_tank)).

A clothes- or utensil-hook from the colony makes more sense to me than something from the aircraft.

If it is a coat/hat hook it is more likely this style with a metal plate welded or riveted on.
