Looks like The Carolinas Aviation Museum has purchased the Airbus A320 for display, and will be preserving it rather than restoring it.  Nice to see someone else who appreciates the value of "as-is".   ;D

I too was heartened by this, and frankly more than a little amazed. The challenge for the museum is going to be coming up with a way to display the airplane that allows visitors to experience it while at the same time not destroying it by wearing it out.

A video about the aircraft as it is today, and plans for restoration and display.  Amazing!
