Great news that you'll be back and looking into the depths for the remains of the airplane.
Is it too early to formulate plans for a return to the 7 site? Or is it safe to say that you are waiting for more results from finds?
The plan for Niku 6 was to very much 'destroy' the 7 site in terms of evidence! Was this completed or is there more work to be done?

That's the plan, but it will be expensive compared to our previous onshore operations. It will all depend on whether we can raise the money.

Yes, it's safe to say that.

The "destruction" was not completed. In fact, we were just getting into the most productive area when we ran out of time. There's probably another week's worth of work to do at the Seven Site.

Well lets hope to a good search on sea and land.
Niku 7 may or may not include work at the Seven Site. Conducting an efficient deep water search and supporting onshore operations are mutually exclusive. We may be looking at another two-ship expedition.
I get the feeling that the area is much bigger than expected with a spread of items and evidence to be found.
Yes and no. There appear to be a few spots of intense activity distributed over a fairly well-defined area. The original impression that there is a scatter of castaway-related artifacts across the site may be an illusion created by surface items displaced by our own brush clearing.
