Title: Memphis Belle is lookin' good
Post by: Monty Fowler on December 29, 2015, 08:42:56 AM
The museum has made quite a bit of progress with the Memphis Belle since we last saw her in Dayton: https://www.warhistoryonline.com/war-articles/memphis-belle-b-17-undergoes-restoration.html (https://www.warhistoryonline.com/war-articles/memphis-belle-b-17-undergoes-restoration.html). She'll never fly again, but that is not always a bad thing.

Great article - thanks for sharing it!

Run Silent Run Deep? Are you involved with Silversides? I am with Torsk.

I am not, Gil, regrettably. Building a Gato-class submarine just happens to be my current modeling project.

Lived my whole life in Michigan and only got over to visit Silversides last fall. Beautiful boat. Would love to help out with her if only she wasn't on the opposite side of the state!
