Sounds like they should have checked out all the tunnels befor sealing them off.  I want to go treasure hunting.

Update:  The area was cleared of excess vegetation and wood debris in early September, then checked for explosives and land mines down to a depth of 1 meter by Polish Army combat engineers. The army then compiled a report to the government.  No sacrificial tree trimmers were injured in this operation.
