Inspirational; thanks for sharing the story. 

I do feel obligated to point out that the MoH recipients I have associated with would be quick to correct the title "Medal of Honor Winner".  The humble gentlemen I feel honored to have known do not consider the MoH to be a prize to win, rather an honor to be awarded or received (depending on the applicable part of speech...).  They generally prefer the term "Medal of Honor Recipient".
