Title: Ric on CBS This Morning
Post by: Friend Weller on May 31, 2013, 09:06:14 AM
It's always heartening to get a phone call at work from one's son who's watching the network news before he runs out the door to his last day of fifth grade for the year excitedly exclaiming:  "Dad, Dad! It's that guy, you know, the guy from TIGHAR, he's on the TV right now!  He's talking about all that stuff I learned about Amelia Earhart, about that underwater picture of where her plane might be.  You know, that new picture we looked at the other night.  I'm only 11 years old and I already know about all the stuff he's talking about!"

Gentlemen (and women), we do good work!  The future is watching us with great anticipation.  Thanks to all.....

A video clip (http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50147979n) is available on the CBS website for at least a while (after you view the 30-second commercial).

Looks like it was seriously edited.  Probably normal.  "Nessie" would have been a important point considering that was a discovery that prompted the U.S. State Deptments interest...and a leading indicator as to why the anomaly is "in the right place".  But this kind of exposure for Tighar and the project is exciting.

I watched the Morning News Program with my daughter. She seemed more excited than I, and I'm the one who's really into the search! My enthusiasm is rubbing off on her...and my sisters and brothers... and my friends! Trying to get more donations for you!

I like that you said, Ric, that TIGHAR has no agenda, that you just go where the evidence leads. I missed the Jeff Glickman interview and hope someone will post a copy of it here or on Facebook.

Nice job!
