Quoting Monty Python and the Holy Grail (again):
"It's only a model."

The website is owned by Paramount Pictures.  My guess would be it is a still from a movie.

I don't know what the movie would be trying to portray.  It's a crude and inaccurate model.  I suspect it's just somebody's amateurish stunt.

Ding ding ding!  It's a scene from the Star Trek: Voyager episode, "The '37s", in which it is shown that Amelia and Fred were abducted by aliens, along with other humans from that year, and placed in a kind of frozen stasis on a far-off planet.

You're right!  J.C Sain, who is not yet signed up to post on the forum, emailed me:

It’s a Star Trek Voyager episode called the 37’s. If you look carefully you can see the black uniform with red shoulders. Even Captain Janeway’s distinctive hair behind the twig. Yes it was made by Paramont and the Wiki page below has another picture. Funny who should be still alive thought you would love it.

Hi Richie,

the following explains what TIGHAR think about the state of the Electra's remains. (http://tighar.org/Publications/TTracks/2010Vol_26/whereelectra.pdf) Alas time and the intense active tides will have left very little appart from the engines.

Just like the chicken and the egg debate, the question needs to be asked.  What came first the Abducted by Aliens Theory or the Star Trek Episode?

The Harney Drawings show the color scheme on the wings.  See the page on the Electra (http://tighar.org/wiki/Electra) (thumbnails at the bottom of the page).
