Title: Earhart article in UK ladies magazine
Post by: Chris Johnson on January 22, 2010, 06:17:41 AM
My wife reads magazines aimed at the ladies market.  Anyway in her latest "Chat" magazine was a two page spread on Earhart (very basic) but it did have a breakdown on the disapperance theories;

crashed + sank
Gardner
Japs
New identity

No mention of TIGHAR though

... No mention of TIGHAR though

Anyone who lists surviving on Gardner is mentioning TIGHAR by reference rather than by name.  Who else is backing that hypothesis with research?   Publications?  Websites?  Forums?  Rhetorical questions?

I'm pretty sure that if anyone searches for Earhart and Gardner, TIGHAR will show up in the results.

Wait, wait, wait!  Let's get all scientific about this, shall we?  "One test is worth a thousand expert opinions."

Here is the Google search. (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=earhart+gardner+island)  I don't have time to burrow down deep into the results.  The first page supports my hypothesis rather well, and that is good enough for my purposes this morning.   8)
