First date: 25 June 1941 - Taken on strength at Aircraft Repair, Edmonton, Alberta
to Western Air Command on 5 November 1941, for use at No. 32 Operational Training Unit at RCAF Station Patricia Bay, BC. Went missing while on a routine navigation exercise near Vancouver Island, British Columbia: believed crashed into Patricia Bay on 30 October 1942. Still not recovered when struck off.
last date: 1 December 1942 - Struck off charge as "missing"
The wreckage was found near Lake Cowichan in January 2014.
