Amazing. I read Adrift (http://www.amazon.com/Adrift-Seventy-six-Days-Lost-Sea/dp/0618257322/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348031317&sr=8-1&keywords=adrift) some time ago about a guy who survived on the open ocean in a small life raft for 'only' 76 days. Surviving for 106 days on the open ocean is incredible. Having a shark push him to rescuers is even better than the whale awakening Tom Hanks in Castaway after he'd given up all hope.
