An AE story appeared on my news feed this morning:

Yeah, well ...typical Daily Mail tabloid junk. I should know better than to talk to these guys.

The writer called me a few days ago to ask if there is anything new on 2-2-V-1.  I told him Glickman is still working on it but it's looking more and more like it's from a WWII Douglas C-47. I mentioned that Jeff is also looking at a photo taken during a 2009 New England Aquarium Expedition that shows what could be an Electra engine cowling.  We've had the photo for years.  It's certainly not a breakthrough.

At least they didn't mention TIGHAR, me, or Jeff Glickman by name.

Were you being facetious? Cuz unfortunately, they did:
"Ric Gillespie is executive director of The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery (TIGHAR), which has led The Earhart Project for more than three decades."
"'Our forensic imaging specialist Jeff Glickman is still working on his final report'"

But at least they didn't say anything about UFOs.  :)

No, just sloppy.  I was so disgusted by the headline and the first few paragraphs that I didn't finish the article.
