Mystery of White Bird’s flight still unsolved

A recent article (May 8, 2015) in The Quoddy Tides ("The Most Easterly Published Newspaper in the US") recaps the disappearance of The White Bird

No disrespect meant, but I don't regard a flight that crashes with no survivors as "a successful flight..."

I'm with Dan on this one. If they had made it - and survived - it would have gone down in history.

As it is, it looks like they probably made it to North America. But making the flight is only half a success. Still, you can't help but admire their guts and bravery.

I hope their fate is known one day, brave men deserve that; won't change history though - Monty and Dan are right.
