Grumman Hellcat found off Florida

A Grumman Hellcat has been found off Florida....

If I were one of the US Navy's special personnel, I would take a break from conducting naval exercises in the Persian Gulf and East Asia and form a cooperative alliance with aviation enthusiast groups to recover WW2 aircraft off Florida, since the Hellcat found off Florida is technically US Navy property like all other WW2 aircraft that crashed during training exercises in Florida. If TIGHAR decides to mind its own business when it comes to recovering WW2 aircraft, then the Navy may launch a special, 600 million dollar effort to recover Navy aircraft that have not yet been recovered.

I don't understand your statement, Vahe. If you're referring to the Devastator recovery operation, TIGHAR is operating with the full cooperation on and in close consultation with the Navy. Throwing stones in glass houses?
