I found this in the comments section under an article about Louise Thaden winning the bendix race in 1936

"Hey I have N15835 the airplane that Louise Thaden flew. Would you know any successful people who might be interested in purchasing the plane for $150k, it has to be worth more than that in historical value. let me know by email!"
Could be a scam or could be a very interesting find.
