Title: Reunion of WW2 pilot and his Aircraft
Post by: C.W. Herndon on October 25, 2014, 09:45:16 AM
Here is a link to a good human interest story about how a WW2 pilot and his war-time C-47 aircraft are reunited. (http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/08/travel/dc3-c-47-world-war-ii-plane-reunited-with-pilot/index.html?iid=article_sidebar)

Thanks Woody!  DC-3's have always been one of my favorites and I enjoy finding stories about them.  As a long-time J&J employee it was neat to learn that they once owned this particular plane.

A Gooney bird ride is on my bucket list.  A couple minutes in the right seat is on my "when-I-find-a-lamp-with-a-genie" list.   :)
