A Grumman Wildcat has been recovered from the bottom of Lake Michigan.....

It's kind of a coincidence that the recovery of the Wildcat from Lake Michigan came on the 71st anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. For anyone interested in aircraft recovery, it is yet another reminder that despite the fact that WW2 fighter pilot veterans are slowly dying off, any WW2 plane that is recovered will continue to give people an idea of the role that the US Navy's warplanes played in protecting our freedoms.

Does anyone have a list of Grumman Wildcat that remain underwater awaiting recovery?
