To set e-mail notifications for replies made to your own posts, log into the news area and the Forum, then click on the PROFILE tab.
Click on "Notifications and Email" link.
Choose how you want to be notified, then click on the "Save settings" button.
In order to be notified of all new posts in a particular board, click on the name of that board. In the Amelia Earhart Search Forum, there are (at present) five individual boards.
After opening a board that interests you, click on the "Notify" tab over on the right.
Click on the OK button.
Exactly the same tab appears when you are reading a particular topic within a board, so you may choose just to follow certain topics that interest you rather than a whole board.
After you have selected some boards to follow, they will appear in your Forum profile. You may unsubscribe by visiting your Profile, clicking on "Notifications and Email," scrolling down to the list of topics and boards you have chosen to follow, then clicking on the relevant "Unsubscribe" button.
Another way to unsubscribe is simply to click the "Notify" tab for the board or topic for which you no longer want to receive e-mail notifications. You will be prompted to confirm the change in your subscription status.
