Sydney
Sydney’s mom writes: “You have provided an experience for Sydney that will give her the confidence to push herself in this upcoming National History Day competition, but also to help her in feeling comfortable about reaching out to others as she continues to grow in her research and reading in many subject areas.”
Zoey
Zoey’s mom writes: “Zoey is intrigued by The Earhart Project and the upcoming June 2015 expedition – so much so, she made me ‘promise’ I would email TIGHAR and find out how she can join the ‘search team’. … Zoey feels strongly Amelia was indeed a castaway on Gardner Island where she lived a quiet and fulfilled rest of her life!”
Cindy
Elsie
Cindy first volunteered for a TIGHAR expedition in 2008 when she was 11. Today she’s an 18 year-old college student and still following TIGHAR’s investigation.

Iain and ShannonIain and Shannon, deep in the literature. Mom says, “Attached is a photo of my two ‘hopeful’ honorary team members, coincidentally with a great nighttime read.

AmeliaAmelia’s father writes: “...she is truly an explorer, full of curiosity and love for life. Her energy and independent nature live up to her namesake. She turns 8 in May and is familiar with the disappearance and your ongoing investigation. At the age of 7 she went for her first flight at our local flight school in a single engine trainer. The instructor allowed her to do some turns and it was a huge thing for her. I am very proud of her and I believe this honor would be very meaningful to her.”
